JibJab 2008 Year in Review
A bit raunchy but funny:
“Perhaps the strangest aspect of life is the sense it conveys of having a pattern—everything falling into place, nothing happening by chance; outward phenomena an image of the inward reality; and therefore inevitable in their relation to that inward reality.” Malcolm Mugggeridge, Affairs of the Heart

Un-frickin-believable!! Its still snowing. Still I went to the Messiah concert at the Townhall. Tudor Choir was amazing; Seattle Baroque Orchestra was amazing; and the soloists were fabulous. I had forgotten how long the peice was. I am so glad I went, though I froze my toes off.

Yes folks! That's what we're having (don't laugh Sharon.) There is about 2 inches of snow... (may be!) And Seattle is being abandoned. Its utterly fun to read headlines like "Snowing heavily in Seattle, commute hammered." Seattle is one of the northern most cities in the lower 48 US. I do wonder if the city has any snow plows or sand/salt trucks. I don't think I have seen one in the past 8 years I've lived here.
h/t Seattlest blog for the title of this post.

Every year, near Christmas, I get a lot of hits for the passage I posted from the Christmas book by Undset. Yes, I do have the book. Its a short book, and I recommend getting it for your Christmas meditation. Alas, it is out of print. Here is the link to my post from 2006.
